The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati is the region’s premiere youth development agency, providing a safe, positive environment focused on enrichment activities that support high school graduation, fitness-for-life and community service.
Making a difference in the lives of thousands of the region’s at-risk kids, the Clubs have a great story to tell, but needed assistance to bring elements of that story to life on social media, in traditional media outlets and in the organization’s annual report. The organization needed a clear message – represented both visually and verbally – to show what it provides the community.
All it takes is one visit to a Boys & Girls Clubs location to be inspired by the dedicated team of staff and volunteers who enrich the lives of members by preparing them to succeed in school and in life. We were also inspired and moved by the stories of BGCGC members, whose smiling faces show the happiness the Club can bring them, despite facing difficult life situations.
Intrinzic developed content pillars to guide social media postings from individual Clubs and showcase the great work happening every day – work that truly makes a difference to the children the Clubs serve. We established a content calendar for the team, empowering individual Club leaders to share photos and descriptions of what’s happening at their location that day. This opened up greater visibility and recognition to the small victories that lead to big successes in the kids’ lives. The content pillars included opportunities to share impact facts via infographics, and compelling images of kids at the Clubs.

Intrinzic also developed the organization’s annual report, one-page summary report, established a strategy for sharing news with local media outlets and optimized the look and feel of the BGCGC website.

Intrinzic provided the majority of our services to this worthy organization on a pro-bono basis.

The results? Our partnership helped the Clubs see an increase in both reach and engagement across their social media accounts, along with an increase in donations.
