Senior Design Strategist

Intrinzic is looking for a Senior Design Strategist — a creative genius that elevates everything they touch, including brand and digital development. They are malleable, resourceful and disciplined. They are adaptable and collaborative in nature, and feel most comfortable working with a strategic and nimble team. They are creative, spirited, and passionate — and inspire junior staff to one day perform like them. They are responsible for conceptualizing, designing and developing high-quality, strategic brand and web-based materials that align with specific client needs while meeting deadlines and making an impact on our clients and community. They are able to understand and apply strategic design thinking to solve client’s business challenges across all deliverables including but not limited to: full brand identity pathways, logo work, brand toolboxes and guidelines, sitemaps, wireframes, website design, presentations and proposals.

Functional Requirements
  • Generate brilliant design concepts, applying design thinking and strategy, and execute them from concept, to design, to production/development
  • Ability to present your work with strong rationale and thinking along with executional details
  • Proficient in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, Sketchand shared Google documents while ensuring files follow department set up and maintenance procedures
  • Exercise and maintain continuous quality assurance in the execution of all project work
  • Demonstrate strong time-management skills, including the ability to work on multiple medium to large-sized design projects simultaneously
Communication Requirements
  • Ability to engage and collaborate cross-functionally with the account strategy team, design strategists and design directors
  • Be motivating, professional, passionate and present • Accept and apply constructive feedback from broader team members
  • Provide constructive feedback openly and honestly to visual team as well as cross function teams
  • Work proactively, collaboratively and maintain communication to ensure proper resourcing, timingand visual deliverables
  • Understands and is able to effectively communicate branding and/or digital creative work developed tointernal and client teams
Leadership Requirements
  • Strong team player with ability to perform, deliver, and learn by example
  • Be a design lead and help guide internal and client teams from concept to completion on projects
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration
  • Self motivated to learn, grow, educate and inspire others when it comes to branding and digital design principals
  • Creates/contributes to effective and accurate proposals
  • Understand timing and resourcing needed
  • Self-manage small to medium-sized design projects
Strategy Requirements
  • Be a design lead and help guide design thinking as wellas brand strategy for design deliverables across branding and digital projects
  • Empowered to make decisions based on understandingand adhering to the client supplied specifications
  • Guide internal and client teams to strategic design solutions that answer client needs and objectives
  • Understands and applies design thinking to solve client business problems
