Intrinzic is seeking a student to assist account teams in delivering quality, creative marketing communication services. Students will have exposure to a variety of clients and tasks, with the opportunity to fully own projects. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required for this position. Strong work ethic, enthusiasm and client confidentiality are expected. Lastly, the ability to quickly flex from one client/task to another is necessary in our environment.

Day-to-day activities could include:

  • Content development
  • Presentation preparation
  • Presentation of findings and recommendations to internal team and clients
  • Completion of research projects
  • Media database monitoring
  • Social media monitoring and management
  • Assistance with internal projects and new business pitches

The marketing communications co-op position is a full-time, paid opportunity that is available on a semester-by-semester basis.

Requirements:

  • Integrated communications, public relations or marketing major
  • Junior, senior or recent grad college standing
  • Availability to work full-time (8:30 am – 5 pm, M – F)

We seek apprentices who are inspired and passionate about all aspects of design and those who can think independently and run with an idea. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of or interest in branding, logo development, print and digital application. Strong work ethic, enthusiasm and client confidentiality are expected. Lastly, the ability to quickly flex from one client/task to another is necessary in our environment.

  • Completion of trends, competition and inspiration research projects
  • Various levels of design for client projects
  • Presentation preparation
  • Presentation of findings and recommendations to internal team and clients
  • Refinements to copy for design
  • Assistance with internal design projects and new business pitches
  • Cutting, mounting and assembly

The design co-op position is a full-time, paid opportunity that is available on a semester-by-semester basis.

Requirements:

  • Graphic design major
  • Junior, senior or recent grad college standing
  • Availability to work full-time (8:30 am – 5 pm, M – F)

JOB DESCRIPTION

You are a rock. You elevate everything you touch, including brand and digital development. You are malleable, resourceful and disciplined. You are adaptable and collaborative in nature, and feel most comfortable working with a strategic and nimble team. You are responsible for conceptualizing, designing and developing high- quality strategic brand-based and web-based materials that align with specific client needs while meeting deadlines and making an impact on our clients and community. You are able to understand and apply strategic design thinking across all deliverables to solve client’s business challenges. Deliverables (both brand and digital development) include but are not limited to: strategic design concepts, logo work, conceptual pathways, wireframes, sitemaps, website design, brand toolboxes, presentations, proposals, brand guidelines and deliverables for print and digital media.

COMMUNICATION

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Generate brilliant design concepts, applying design thinking and strategy, and see them through from concept to completion: web and print
  • Must be able to provide quality assurance to all projects; every step of the project
  • Has a basic understanding of HTML, CSS programming as it relates to design
  • Work with development and/or production vendors and partners to successfully produce the digital and/or print products
  • Update and maintain current web properties while keeping a high standard of UI/UX
  • Interface design, site architecture, website design, application, design, familiar with front end coding, minimal back end coding, and basic website maintenance are part of digital capabilities
  • Logo work, conceptual pathways, toolbox development and brand guidelines are part of branding capabilities

STRATEGY

  • Be a strong design lead and help guide design thinking as well as brand strategy for design deliverables across branding and digital projects
  • Empowered to make decisions based on understanding and adhering to the client supplied specifications
  • Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies; keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of market trends
  • Conduct ongoing research, education and trial of new technologies and tools that impact web design, application design and user experience. Educate the creative and account teams about new ideas, opportunities and techniques that can evolve our product
  • Position self as digital expert/specialist but still work across brand deliverables

The Office Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are coordinating and maintaining the Intrinzic office, providing administrative support as well as completing light bookkeeping and HR tasks. Key skills to be successful include project management of assigned initiatives, organization, communication, follow-through and willingness to take initiative. This individual in this position interacts with all team members as well as clients and vendors; therefore, a personable disposition is a must.

This position is hourly and requires anywhere from 15 – 20 hours/week. The hours can grow over time based on business need and skill/willingness of candidate.

Key tasks include, but are not limited to:

ADMIN SUPPORT

  • Answer phones
  • Greet clients/vendors
  • Retrieve/distribute mail
  • Order lunch for Company meetings
  • Client meeting set up and break down – including ordering food
  • Admin support for senior management when necessary
  • Help out with Client Service as needed – proofing, research, etc.

OFFICE MANAGEMENT

  • Own the cleanliness and professionalism of the office at all times
    • Straighten kitchen/office/conference rooms/ restock fridge
    • Organize and maintain kitchen supplies
    • Ensure closets and supplies are organized
    • Manage office maintenance needs, including the deck
    • Manage inventory of office supplies and order as needed
    • Ensure printers are stocked with paper and appropriate supplies
    • Manage all administrative vendor contracts/services
  • Own server file organization and upkeep
  • Manage new hire’s/exiting employees desk clean up and location
  • Manage any office moves
  • Interact with Levee Management as needed 

MISC

  • Assist with HR and accounting paperwork, data entry and reporting
  • Manager Birthday & Anniversary emails/gifts
  • Own and maintain client and vendor databases
  • Work on special projects as needed – audits, etc.
