Finding and telling the stories that help build brands, motivate employees and engage audiences is the focus of Rob’s work.
Rob’s career includes stints at two integrated marketing firms, Luxottica, UC and Northern Kentucky University. He started out as a newspaper reporter in Mansfield, Ohio, where the movie Shawshank Redemption was filmed. His experience includes public relations, long-form content development, crisis management, magazine editing and corporate communications.
I strive to get to the essence to the story, paying attention to the human element. I believe every story is ultimately about people – I try to find that aspect to make it a more compelling piece. I make an impact by finding new ways to share a client’s story. It’s still thrilling to see words and images come together in a way that truly reflects a brand’s essence and drive connections.
Rob holds a MA in communication from Northern Kentucky University and a bachelor’s in journalism from Ashland University. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and teaches PR writing courses at local universities. Outside of work, he enjoys bicycling, hanging out with his family and rooting for Cleveland sports teams.
